Regina A. Hardin, MD, FAAP
Dr Hardin attended and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Talladega College in 1989 and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in 1999. Dr Hardin resides in Atlanta and has been practicing Pediatric Medicine in Atlanta approximately 13 years and has her Georgia Medical License. She continues her education in health care and anticipates receiving her Masters in Public Health Degree.Amit M. Deokar, MD, M.P.H
Dr Deokar attended Northern Illinois University to receive his Masters in Public Health and attended University of Wisconsin where he completed his Pediatric Residency at St. Josephs Childrens Hospital. Prior to joining Childrens Medicine of Rockdale, Dr Deokar was Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Kentucky, Department of General Pediatrics. He also received his certification in Adolescent Medicine. Dr Deokar is a Georgia licensed physician. Dr Deokar moved to Atlanta in January 2011 and resides in Atlanta with is wife who works at the Center for Disease Control.Tasha L. Merritt, MD, FAAP
Dr Merritt received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, New Orleans, LA. She attended and received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2000 and completed her residency at MCCG/Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. Dr Merritt is a Georgia Board Certified and Licensed physician. Dr Merritt resides in Atlanta with her two sons.Cheryl West - RN
Cheryl joined Childrens Medicine of Rockdale in June of 2001. Cheryl grew up in Charleston, S.C. but calls St. Simon's Island home after spending 20+ years living there. Cheryl moved to Conyers 10 years ago with her husband Terry West, Deputy Director of the Wild Life Resources Division for the Department of Natural Resources. They have four children, Mallary 24, Christopher 22, Jessica 20 and Logan 11 years old. Cheryl enjoys sewing and crafts, as well as collecting recipes for a cookbook she is writing for her kids. She loves to spend time with her family and family pets...LeAnn Ergle - Medical Assistant
LeAnn joined Childrens Medicine of Rockdale in May of 2009. LeAnn grew up in the Conyers/Covington area and graduated from Newton High School in 2005. She is planning to continue her education at Perimeter College and become an RN in the future. She has a one year old daughter and in her personal time enjoys watching her sister play softball as well as interior decorating and photography.Jerry Rogers - Administration and Billing
Jerry joined Childrens Medicine of Rockdale in 2004. Jerry presently provides the administration of all insurance claims as well as self insured billing processes and procedures. Prior to joining Childrens Medicine of Rockdale Jerry worked at MetLife in the Long Term Disability Department as a Unit Claims Manager. She grew up in Georgia and attended DeKalb College, studying business and nursing. Jerry also attended LaMesa College while residing in San Diego, CA. Jerry's insurance certifications include HIAA, ICA and LOMA.Cindy Gasque - Front Office Administration
Cindy joined Childrens Medicine of Rockdale in February 2007. Cindy is married and has a daughter 21, and a son16. Cindy grew up in Rockdale County and graduated from Heritage High School in 1985. She is a frequent guest on Facebook and enjoys watching Ryan, her son, play baseball on his high school team as well as shopping and being with family.
