Amit M. Deokar M.D., M.P.H.
After completing his medical degree from India, Dr. Deokar came to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) and a residency in General Pediatrics. Upon completion, he joined the University of Kentucky and taught academic medicine to the students and residents. He has also received a clinical training certificate in Adolescent Medicine while working as full-time faculty at the University of Kentucky. His interests are Primary care for children from birth to 21 years, with a special interest in Adolescent Health. In addition to the practice of traditional western medicine, Dr. Deokar is a big advocate of Preventative Medicine and Public Health to his patients and their families. He is also an avid supporter of Holistic and Integrated Medicine. Outside of his work, he likes to travel, play tennis, try new recipes, and enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Deokar looks forward to addressing your child’s health care needs and working with you and your child to achieve desirable health outcomes. Dr. Deokar is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Stephanie Wilson M.D.
Dr. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida A&M University in 1999, she received her Medical Doctorate from Penn State University School of Medicine in 2003. She entered the United States Air Force and completed her residency training at Keesler Medical Center in Mississippi and Naval Medical Center San Diego. She has had additional training in Asthma and Allergy management. Dr. Wilson is a Georgia Licensed physician. She resides in Atlanta and continues to serve in the US Air Force Reserve as a Flight Surgeon.
LeAnn Ergle, Medical Assistant
I am 26 years old with a 3 year old daughter. I live in Conyers where I have lived most of my life. Graduated from Newton High in 2005, and Sanford Brown in Atlanta in 2008. I worked here previously about 2 years ago, then took a break to live in Myrtle Beach for about a year, then decided to come back to Georgia, and obtained my position back at Childrens Medicine of Rockdale. My hobbies are outdoors, family time, and helping in my community.
Cindy Gasque, Front Office Administrator
Cindy Gasque has been with Childrens Medicine of Rockdale since 2007, she has been a resident of Rockdale County for 40 yrs and was a graduate of Heritage High School class of 1985. Cindy has two grown children Lauren and Ryan. She enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
